About Us
The Restaurant
It all began in search for a better future for their children. Rosalina and Jesus migrated to the United States out of a war-torn land, El Salvador. Jesus in 1985, and Rosalina and their son Jose in 1992, and years later their two daughters Daisy and Gladis.
As a struggling family with language barriers they were able to achieve everything they put their minds to. As a christian centered family the famous "pupusas" began to create a buzz in the kitchen of a local church in East Dallas where "Rosi" (Rosalina) used to make them to raise funds for the church. Everyone soon fell in love with them and would suggest they would open a "Pupuseria" (a place where they sell pupusas.)

In the year of 2005 Jesus and Rosalina where able to open the first Rosis Pupuseria in Garland. Eight years later, after much success and demand, they opened a second location in Mesquite, and in 2023 in Oakcliff off of Jefferson and Madison ave. Rosis Pupuseria has evolved; adding amazing tasting food to their menu. Rosi's rebranded the mesquite location in Feburary 2020 to ROSI'S Salvadoran Fusion Cuisine after their son Executive Chef Jose Galdamez saw the need to keep the culture alive in the United States. He graduated with Honors from the best private culinary art school in San Salvador "SCARTS" under the direction of French Master Chef Herve Laurent. ROSI'S will continue making amazing "World Class Salvadoran Fusion Food." Rosis has been featured in DMagazine and Dallas Observer.
